Fresh Air Experience, your local XC ski experts, offers both classic touring ski and skate ski rentals in adult sizes. Your rental will include skis, boots and poles… all the equipment you need!  Their address, at 1291 Wellington St West, is conveniently located only 1km from the Ktrail trailhead at Scott Street Connector.

Rental equipment is available for pick-up / drop-off during regular business hours.  (The store opens at 10am Tuesday through Sunday). The rental is for a 24 hour period, so there is no need for you to rush in early.  Plan a pickup time that is convenient for you, and return the same or the next day. 

You are welcome to take your equipment to the Kichi Sibi Winter Trail, to Gatineau Park, to the many Greenbelt trails, or wherever else you wish. (Fresh Air offers the best insider information on local ski trails that you’ll find anywhere.)

Bookings/ Reservations

Reservations ARE NOT available or required for XC Gear. Equipment is provided first come first serve during opening hours, based on availability and they, generally, have enough gear to meet all the demand!
